Prima Venezia

Lunch. Mussels in a spicy (not very) tomato broth. Tasty. Venice, being very much near (sometimes in) the sea, is known for its seafood.
It's weird that this is on a city built on a lagoon.
Also weird is that this is not a puddle, this is the water table. As sea levels go up, more of Venice will flood permanently.
Very intricate clock/calendar. Couldn't really figure out how it works as far as days/weeks/months go, but it looks great. Also very, very large.
My favorite part of the Galleria Accademia in Venice was the ceilings, although all the religious iconography was probably the real focus.
Nevermind this was my favorite part of the Galleria!
